ENHYPEN

 

ENHYPEN is a South Korean boy band formed by BELIFT LAB. The group consists of six multinational members JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI. They were the finalists of the global music competition show ‘I-LAND', aired for three months starting from June 2020.

The group officially debuted on November 30th, 2020 with the song “Given-Taken”.  ENHYPEN are known for their powerful and highly synchronized performances, dark fantasy/vampire concept, and cinematic storytelling through music and art direction. They have garnered international praise as the “4th Generation Hot Icons” and “Kpop Powerhouses", and “Performance Kings.”

Their fandom name is ENGENE, which is derived from the words “engine” and “gene.”  ENGENES are the engines that help them “keep going” and the genes that share the same DNA as the group to “connect, discover, and grow together.” Former member, HEESEUNG, left Enhypen on March 10th, 2026 and became a solo artist under the stage name Evan.
